Warm Hearth — Rustic Christmas Tree Box
A warm-stained pine Christmas tree box with framed faces and crossed battens, creating a rustic foundation that neatly conceals the tree stand.
Made in 2022, this rustic Christmas tree box was designed to make the base of the tree feel as considered as the decorations above it. Pine panels are bordered with raised frames and finished with crossing battens that give every visible face the character of an old wooden crate. The warm brown stain brings out the grain and tonal variation in the pine while helping the box settle naturally beneath the greenery. Built as an open enclosure around the stand, it replaces exposed hardware with a substantial handcrafted base and completes the holiday display from floor to treetop.
