Violet Veins — Ambrosia Maple Bath Caddy
A single-slab ambrosia maple bath caddy shaped around the wood's natural figure, with vivid purple epoxy filling its imperfections and defining the integrated cup holders.
Cut from a single slab of ambrosia maple, this bath caddy was designed to preserve the board's natural movement rather than disguise it. Purple epoxy runs through the checks and character marks, turning the wood's imperfections into a deliberate visual thread and repeating inside the cup-holder rings. A raised handle provides an easy way to lift and position the caddy while also serving as a practical holder for a washcloth. The finished piece balances the warm, unpredictable figure of ambrosia maple with a playful burst of colour and the everyday comfort of a quiet bath.
