Two as One — Pine Heart Candle Holder
A two-piece pine candle holder whose stepped forms meet to create a sculpted heart opening, with one tealight set into each side.
Made in 2022, this candle holder is built from two contrasting-height blocks of pine that become a single composition when placed together. The heart is shaped across both halves, making the centre seam part of the idea: neither side completes the form on its own. A recessed tealight sits at the top of each block, placing the two flames at different heights while the warm finish brings out the pine's grain and softens the piece's geometric silhouette.
